Common Questions
I am not receiving notifications
Open the app and check the notification status shown on the home screen.
You can also open the iPhone Settings app, select Notifications, select The Mumbles Raft Race and make sure Allow Notifications is enabled.
An internet connection is required to receive new event notifications.
The countdown appears incorrect
Please ensure your device date, time and time zone are set correctly.
The donation link does not work
The donation page is provided by an external service. Please check your internet connection and try again.
Event information has changed
Although we aim to keep information up to date, event details may occasionally change after an app update has been released. Official live notifications may be used to communicate important race-day changes.
I have found an error
Please email us with as much detail as possible, including the device model and iOS version where applicable.
Push Notifications
Push notifications are optional and are used for official event information, including schedule updates, delays, safety announcements and other race-day information.
Notification permission can be changed at any time through the iPhone Settings app.
