Tamar Mate

Overview

Tamar Mate is an educational and operational reference application designed to support RNLI Tamar Class lifeboat crews by providing technical information, emergency procedures, training resources and onboard operational tools.

Your privacy is important to us. Tamar Mate has been designed to minimise the collection of personal information. Wherever possible, information is processed entirely on your own device.

Information We Collect

Tamar Mate does not collect, store or share your personal information.

• No user accounts.
• No names or contact details.
• No email addresses are collected by us.
• No payment information.
• No advertising identifiers.
• No analytics or profiling.
• No health information.
• No personal information is transmitted to our servers.

Location Services

The optional GPS feature can access your device's location while you are using the application.

Location information is used solely to display live GPS information such as position, speed over ground, course over ground, heading and GPS accuracy.

Your location is processed entirely on your device. Tamar Mate does not store your location, transmit it to us, share it with third parties or use it for tracking.

You may enable or disable Location Services at any time through your iPhone Settings.

Data Stored on Your Device

Training progress, quiz results, vessel information and user preferences are stored locally on your own device.

This information is never transmitted to us and is not shared with third parties.

Third-Party Services

Tamar Mate does not use advertising SDKs, analytics services, user tracking technologies or third-party data collection services.
